Approach

For a studio like Macaulay Sinclair, known for crafting original hospitality concepts and elevated dining experiences, a scattergun approach just wouldn’t do. Our approach was carefully targeted, focusing on building long-term credibility with high value prospects. 

Putting volume PR in the bin, our strategy instead centered on thoughtful storytelling, positioning Macaulay Sinclair as a trusted collaborator for creatively complex, high-profile projects. We created a blend of project-led press releases, case studies and thought leadership to showcase the studio’s expertise to carefully curated design and hospitality media. 

An SEO strategy was a first for the studio. Our approach was to use a dash of technical SEO, a dollop of thoughtfully curated content, and a sprinkle of keyword optimisations to prepare beautifully curated project pages and attract genuine potential connections. 

To ensure clients and leads were aware of their ongoing project activity, we developed a consistent content plan to revitalise the studio’s dormant LinkedIn profile – which generates hundreds of engagements per post. We’ll cheers to that. 

Results

The results? 38 pieces of coverage in the biggest design and hospitality titles, including The Caterer, Restaurant and Design Week. 

SEO-wise, they are sitting at position two in Google for ‘interior architects UK’, with a clear pipeline of traffic from international searches after just seven months. 

Results also included more organic traffic to the site, with 160 website clicks, 26 direct calls and 295 direction requests from the Google Business profile. The website gained 905 impressions for searches of ‘interior architects’ and 506 for ‘interior design architecture company’. The website began with around 300 impressions recorded daily, and this increased over the 7 months to a peak of 1,485 impressions. 

After a three-year hiatus, we helped breathe new life into the studio’s LinkedIn page. Achieving 7% follower growth and 18.2% engagement rate, these efforts helped position the brand as knowledgeable, experienced and quietly confident.
