Looking to open a bakery in Nottingham, Public needed us to get them on the foodie map. Through press and influencer content, we gained 600k+ followers and nearly 5m views.

When independent Loughborough coffee shop and bakery Public decided to expand its operations into Nottingham, the team called on Cartwright to tap into its local knowledge to help get them firmly on the city’s foodie map. What followed was an engaging press and influencer campaign to drive awareness and secure brand advocates.

Approach
Our approach included journalist liaison, securing press visits to the new site, press interviews and pre and post launch press releases aimed at regional and trade press
We then curated a highly-targeted list of Nottingham foodies and lifestyle macro, micro and nano influencers who got the chance to be amongst the first to experience the show-stopping new space, in exchange for user generated content, and the chance for Public to tap into a wide range of followers.
Results
We saw incredible results for this campaign, with 39 influencers with plus ones secured within a two-week period. This generated more than 100 pieces of content on Instagram and TikTok, with a combined social following of 607,401.
To drum up noise pre-launch and celebrate the success of its brunch activity, we secured nine pieces of regional and business coverage, with 4.8 million estimated audience views and 376 social engagements.
