Background
Moodbeam is the first wearable device that logs how users feel at the push of a button. We worked closely with Moodbeam’s co-founders to boost the product’s profile to consumers and raise the media presence of its entrepreneurial founders.
We also supported the business with its adapting model, launching Moodbeam’s business use software to the B2B market, which resulted in key hits across BBC News, Channel 4, iNews, WIRED and Forbes.
Approach
The focus was on generating press releases, longer form case studies and features, paired with a reactive, newsjacking approach. Working with industry partners, the team has also launched the product for use in the construction industry.
Results
The pivot to business use software provided a key talking point for media, resulting in the company going viral in January 2021 and receiving a traffic spike of more than 2,000% in a single week through direct and search traffic.
Through a combination of targeted pre-planned content and reactive opportunities, Moodbeam was featured across a range of regional, national and international publications, boosting brand and product awareness.
