Approach

Cartwright developed a tailored, city-first strategy rooted in the unique rhythm of each location. 

The team crafted a bespoke approach for each site, spanning the pre-launch build-up to the full rollout. Consideration was given into how best to tap into local and regional audiences, how to build connections with key local businesses, as well as insights into what drives the hair and beauty scene in each city. 

Ahead of hosting glittering VIP launch events in each city, we curated a guestlist featuring a diverse mix of macro, micro and nano influencers who were trusted voices in fashion, beauty and lifestyle, as well as professionals from across the hair, beauty, and wellness world who are looking to take their business to the next level, ensuring both breadth and authenticity of reach. 

To amplify the campaign further, we collaborated with local, regional, and industry media to build buzz, drive awareness, and secure high-impact, future-proof coverage worthy of the Phenix Salon Suites brand

Results

With prominent hair and beauty industry figures in attendance, well known regionally, each launch event generated buzz among a highly engaged audience.  

Across the three events, we hosted over 120 attendees, with a combined social media following of 594,000. Notable guests included influencers and public figures from Married at First Sight, Love is Blind, and a Miss England semi-finalist, alongside respected beauty industry tastemakers. Their presence brought significant online engagement, with many sharing their experiences in real-time through Instagram stories. However, beyond that, the event garnered a number of warm leads who then went on to subsequently secure a space, highlighting the success of the launch campaign. 

The campaign resulted in 112 pieces of media coverage across press and social platforms. Highlights included features in regional business and lifestyle outlets such as YM Liverpool, BCC Nottingham, BBC Radio Derby, and The Business Desk.
