The challenge we were asked to solve
UKREiiF is the UK’s biggest property and construction event, bringing together more than 15,000 delegates and many of Cartwright’s built environment clients. We were tasked with creating timely video content that could be used by our clients and the event’s organiser to would cut through the industry’s busiest live event, making sure not to miss an opportunity while the conversation was still happening.
Insights applied to identify growth opportunities
We knew UKREiiF created a rare opportunity: a high-attention moment where clients, prospects and sector leaders were all in one place. Working with the event organiser, we identified video as the strongest way to capture live insight, raise client visibility and create content with value beyond the event itself. Pairing this with client insights around wanting greater LinkedIn visibility to make the most of the moment without the cost of their own videographer, we created a comprehensive plan to achieve both goals.
How we leveraged intelligence
Across the 2023 and 2024 editions of the event, we undertook 23 interviews with clients and sector voices, using a streamlined filming, editing and approval process to turn content around in as little as three hours. From our longstanding relationship with the event organiser, we were able to work with unrivalled speed, knowing the right places to be, who to talk to and how to plan the content out so the videos could be ready for immediate social use and deliver the greatest value.
What was the business impact?
- Delivered 23 interviews across the three days of UKREiiF
- Turned videos around in as little as three hours, making content timely and relevant
- Helped featured businesses extend their visibility beyond the event floor
- Supported client social media activity, with one featured client’s post receiving four times its average interactions
- Created video assets that could be used by the event organiser to support early promotion of the following year’s event
- Strengthened Cartwright’s position as an active, visible ally to built environment clients at one of the sector’s most important events, leading to panel hosting opportunities and the launch of the official storytelling partnership in 2026
“Thanks for your hard work over the last few days! You and the Cartwright team definitely held up your end of the bargain and have put together some great content.”
